What this site is
Plant by Date provides general information about when to plant, sow and transplant crops in the United States. We are not a government agency or extension office and are not affiliated with USDA, NOAA or any university. We cannot diagnose plant problems or give advice for your specific site. See the disclaimer.
Accuracy and changes
We work from named public sources and show the date we last checked each page, but guidance changes and errors can occur. Information on the site is provided for general guidance only, and frost dates are averages that can differ from any given year. Confirm timing that matters to you with your local extension office. We may change or remove content at any time without notice.
Acceptable use
You may read the site, print pages and share links for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- copy, republish or sell our content in bulk, or use automated tools to collect it, without our written permission;
- interfere with the site's operation or security, or try to gain unauthorized access;
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others;
- present our content as your own or suggest that we endorse you.

Climate and hardiness-zone data that originates from public sources belongs to those sources. Names of universities, agencies and other organizations are used only to identify them and belong to their owners.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the place where you live. Disputes that cannot be resolved by email will be brought in the competent courts of Ukraine, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
